We have started creating our own mobile chicken tractors on the farm and can’t wait to share with you.

We Build to Order

Our chicken tractors are built right here on our family farm.

Our tractors are made from H3 treated pine. Providing protection against borers, termite attack and moderate fungal decay.

We use Heavy-duty welded galvanised mesh on the floor and walls to protect your chickens from predators and to make your tractor easy to clean.

We use Heavy-duty pump up sulky wheels making your Tractor easy to move.

We use polycarbonate roof sheets to keep your Tractor light and your chicken dry and protected from the heat of summer (Metal sheeting gets very hot in the summer).

We are currently using Bainbridge rollaway nesting boxes.

Roll your tractor forward 1 full length along your pasture or lawn daily, this leaves manure behind from the day before as a fertilizer which will encourage new grass growth and your chickens will be in a clean environment. Close the ramp at sunset to lock your chickens away safely and turn your electric netting back on when leaving to keep your chickens safe from night predators. In the morning it is as easy as opening the ramp to let your chooks out and move your tractor 1 full length onto fresh grass, top up feed and water and walk away, but don’t forget to turn the electric fence back on!
